The VFX team at Corridor Crew wanted to dive into this and look to answer the question, will actors ever really be replaced with CGI?

The answer is yes, but they go on to explain that there will always be a human performance driving it. They go on to explain what happens, though, if the performance part becomes unnecessary. The video explores where the technology is currently at and where the use of digital actors will likely go in the near future.
