Trailer For Evan Rachel Wood's Upcoming Crime Comedy-Drama KAJILLIONAIRE
Focus Features has released the first trailer for its upcoming crime comedy-drama film Kajillionaire, which stars Westworld’s Evan Rachel Wood. She plays a character that follows in her parent’s footsteps as she trains to be a con-artist.
The movie is described as “a profoundly moving and wildly original comedy.” The story follows con-artists Theresa (Debra Winger) and Robert (Richard Jenkins) who “have spent 26 years training their only daughter, Old Dolio (Wood), to swindle, scam, and steal at every opportunity. During a desperate, hastily conceived heist, they charm a stranger (Gina Rodriguez) into joining their next scam, only to have their entire world turned upside down.”
The movie was written and directed by Miranda July and it also stars Patton Oswalt, Mark Ivanir, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Diana-Maria Riva and Randy Ryan.
The movie is set to be released in theaters on Friday, September 18th.
