Trailer for Amy Adams's Psychological Suspense Thriller THE WOMAN IN THE WINDOW

I’ve got a fantastic first trailer here for you to watch for Amy Adams’s upcoming psychological suspense thriller The Woman in the Window. The movie comes from director Joe Wright, and this is a very different kind of movie for him to make. Wright is best known for his films such as Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, The Darkest Hour, Hanna, and more. We’ve never seen him tell a story like this before, and it looks like he’s made a hell of a thrilling film!

The story follows an agoraphobic child psychologist who “befriends a neighbor across the street from her New York City brownstone, only to see her own life turned upside down when the woman disappears and she suspects foul play.” As you’ll see, things turn frustrating for her when people try to convince her that she’s gone crazy. It’s explained that “shocking secrets are revealed, and no one—and nothing—is what it seems.”

The movie includes an impressive supporting cast that consists of Gary Oldman, Anthony Mackie, Wyatt Russell, Brian Tyree Henry, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Julianne Moore.

I enjoy watching movies like this and I’ll be looking forward to checking this one out. The Woman in the Window is set to hit theaters on May 15th, 2020.
