THE RIDDLER: YEAR ONE Cover and Comic Stills Released During Comic-Con

With it being that time of the year, many things in the comic culture will be revealed. This just happens to be one that I have been looking forward to for a while.

Around the time of the release of The Batman to theaters, Director Matt Reeves and Paul Dano revealed that there would be a comic created that would give the origin of The Riddler. Thanks to it being Comic-Con we were given the cover art and some panels from the comic The Riddler: Year One.

“For many film and comic book fans, Paul Dano's portrayal of The Riddler in Matt Reeves' The Batman was arguably one of the most chilling and terrifying incarnations ever seen in a Batman film," DC said when The Riddler: Year One was announced. "This October, fans will have the opportunity to learn more about The Riddler's origins in Riddler: Year One, a six-issue bimonthly DC Black Label series, written by The Batman actor Paul Dano, with art by acclaimed European illustrator Stevan Subic, making his DC debut. This series explores the background of how accountant Edward Nashton went from a simple Gotham City nobody to becoming Batman's nemesis, setting them on a collision course in the blockbuster feature film."

I really enjoy the art of this. I am exited to see what this comic holds. Let us know what you think.
