The New HARRY POTTER Series Gets an Official Announcement Teaser

Warner Bros. recently announced that they are developing a new series adaptation of Harry Potter for Max, with J.K. Rowling executive producing. This series is going to be a much more faithful take on the classic Harry Potter books than the beloved films.

We now have an announcement teaser to share with you that WB released after the announcement. There’s not any footage from the series as it hasn’t started shooting yet, but it captures the tone of the series that fans are expecting.

The series will be casting young actors in the role of the main characters and the series will be released over the course of the next ten years. This is definitely an ambitious project and J.K. Rowling said in a statement: “Max’s commitment to preserving the integrity of my books is important to me, and I’m looking forward to being part of this new adaptation which will allow for a degree of depth and detail only afforded by a long form television series.”

Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO, HBO & Max Content said in a statement: “We are delighted to give audiences the opportunity to discover Hogwarts in a whole new way. Harry Potter is a cultural phenomenon and it is clear there is such an enduring love and thirst for the Wizarding World. In partnership with Warner Bros. Television and J.K. Rowling, this new Max Original series will dive deep into each of the iconic books that fans have continued to enjoy for all of these years.”

I have no doubt that the studio is going to deliver a Harry Potter series that the fans of the books will enjoy.
