THE MARVELS Concept Art Features Original Alternate Climactic Moment in Film

Some new concept art from The Marvels has surfaced online, and it features the original alternate ending for the film that was previously teased by actress Iman Vellani.

Vellani revealed that when Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) closed the tear in the parallel universe made by Dar-Benn, the original draft of the script saw Kamala Khan and Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) helping Monica close it. It was also in that version, right before Monica got trapped in another reality, that she would have officially been named "Photon."

Thanks to Marvel concept artist Lixin Yin, we now have a visual of what that scene would’ve looked like. In it, Ms. Marvel is wearing a space suit and joining Monica and Carol so they can all mend the tear together. Check out the art below!
