THE BOYS Season 3 Will Tell the Insanely Raunchy Comic Book Story "Herogasm"

The Boys has never been shy about going crazy with the vulgarity and gory violence. They’ve had a lot of fun playing with the content from Gareth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic book series, but they took things to a whole new level of insanity with the six-issue story arc “Herogasm.”

The “Herogasm” story made jaws drop, and The Boys series showrunner Eric Kripke has confirmed again that they are going to include this story in the series and offered a sneak peek at the cover of the script, which was written by Jessica Chou. It was also revealed that this will be the sixth episode of Season 3. Kripke also shared the following comment:

“From day one, everyone dared me to make this episode,” Kripke wrote on Twitter. “CHALLENGE MET MOTHERFUCKERS.”

“Herogasm” is an extremely filthy story about a superhero orgy. It follows the ragtag team as they infiltrate an annual, weekend-long Vought party, and it’s an annual superhero orgasm, which is put on to help its superheroes unwind from their duties with sex and drugs. While there, the team learn more about Vought's plans to infiltrate the White House. Don’t worry, though, the episode won’t just be an hour of hardcore porn. Kripke previously said:

"We JUST figured out how to do Herogasm!!… I've really wanted to do it, but needed to figure out our twist on it, so it's not just an hour of hardcore porn. But I think we got it!! Super excited about that."

So, I imagine that the creative team found a way to tell this story without going completely off the rails. They’ll keep it in line with what they’ve already done with the show, which is smart.

The Boys was created by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen and Kripke. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently available to watch on Amazon Prime Video. No premiere date has yet been set for The Boys Season 3.
