Tim Blake Nelson and Shira Haas Have Been Added to the Cast of Marvel's CAPTAIN AMERICA: NEW WORLD ORDER

Emmy-nominated actress Shira Haas (Unorthodox) and actor Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Watchmen) have joined the cast of Marvel’s next Captain America movie, Captain America: New World Order. They join already announced cast members Anthony Mackie, who is reprising his role as Sam Wilson; Danny Ramirez, who is playing Joaquin Torres; and Carl Lumbly, who is playing Isaiah Bradley.

Haas will portray the character Sabra, and Nelson is returning to play The Leader. His character was last seen in the 2008 film The Incredible Hulk as Samuel Sterns.

Captain America: New World Order is one of the upcoming Phase Five films in the MCU. Julius Onah is set to direct the film from a script penned by Dalan Musson and Malcolm Spellman, both of whom wrote for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Spellman will produce with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

New World Order hits theaters on May 3, 2024.
