Norman Reedus Set to Star in Jeff Nichols' New Film THE BIKERIDERS

The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus has joined the ensemble cast of director Jeff Nichols’s new drama film project The Bikeriders, which is set up at New Regency. Reedus joins the previously cast Austin Butler, Jodie Comer, Tom Hardy, Michael Shannon, Boyd Holbrook, and Damon Herriman. That’s quite the impressive cast!

The film will tell a fictional story inspired by the photography of Danny Lyon and his 1967 book The Bikeriders. The film is set in the 1960s “following the rise of a fictional Midwestern motorcycle club. Seen through the lives of its members, the club evolves over the course of a decade from a gathering place for local outsiders into a more sinister gang, threatening the original group’s unique way of life.”

This seems like the perfect project for Reedus to be a part of considering his love for motorcycles. On top of riding a motorcycle in The Walking Dead, he also had that AMC series Ride With Norman Reedus, which featured Reedus hitting the open road to explore local biker culture.

I’m looking forward to Nichols’ new movie. It seems like it’s going to deliver a pretty cool and epic biker club story.
