New Poster Art for THE BOYS Crazy-Looking Spinoff Series GEN V
The Boys spinoff series Gen V has a new poster for you to check out, and it features all the young main characters of the series who are going to superhero college. This is pretty much like The Boys: The College Years, and this thing is going to be insanely violent and vulgar because that’s just the standard for this franchise, and the fans love and expect it. The last trailer that was released for Gen V was absolutely insane and it got fans hyped.
The project is inspired by the G-Men, which is a parody of the X-Men in The Boys comic book series. “Set at America’s only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes (run by Vought International), Gen V is an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It’s part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys.”
Producer Seth Rogen previously described Gen V as being “more shocking” and filled with all kinds of “really crazy shit.” You’ll get a little taste of that craziness in this new trailer.
Gen V stars Jaz Sinclair (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Chance Perdomo (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Lizze Broadway (Bones), Shelley Conn (Bridgerton), Maddie Phillips (Teenage Bounty Hunters), London Thor (Shameless), Derek Luh (Shining Vale), Asa Germann (Caviar), Patrick Schwarzenegger (The Staircase), Sean Patrick Thomas (Barbershop), Marco Pigossi (Invisible City), and Clancy Brown.
The series comes from Eric Kripke and it was also announced that it will launch with its first three episodes on September 29th. New episodes will roll out weekly until the Season 1 finale on November 3rd.
