New Photo From JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX of Joaquin Phoenix Enjoying The Rain
Director Todd Phillips has released a new photo from Joker: Folie a Deux and it features Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck enjoying some rainy weather. The image came with the following note from the filmmaker: “Oct. 4[.] Thanks for all the messages. Four years ago we had quite a ride. Lots of great memories. More to come.”
Not much is known about the story the Joker sequel will tell, but it’s a musical and its story will mostly be set in Arkham Asylum. The film’s working title, Joker: Folie à Deux, refers to the clinical term for the “shared madness,” hallucinations, and delusions of two people.
The movie also stars Zazie Beetz as Sophie Dumond, with Catherine Keene, Jacob Lofland, and Brendan Gleeson who will be playing undisclosed characters
Warner Bros. will release the film in theaters on October 4th, 2024. You can see some previously released images of Harley Quinn in full costume here.
