Michael Emerson cast in lead role for J.J. Abrams' PERSON OF INTEREST

Michael Emerson is set to re-team with Lost creator J.J. Abrams. He has been cast in the lead role for the CBS pilot Person of Interest. Abrams is serving as executive producer of the series.

Last week CBS gave the greenlight to the one-hour crime drama. The series was created by Abrams and screenwriter Jonathan Nolan. Emerson will play a billionaire who works to stop violent crime along with an ex-CIA agent.

I loved Emerson in Lost and am very happy he's been cast in this new show. With Abrams and Nolan on board this is bound to be a success, right?
