MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVOLUTION Teases Connection To The Classic Live-Action Movie

For those of you who have been watching Kevin Smith’s Netflix series, Masters of the Universe: Revolution, there’s a part in it that you may or may not have noticed. There’s a moment in the animated series that teases a connection to the classic live-action 80s film, Masters of the Universe.

In the series, “Man At War” and Orko visit the character Gwildor, who was originally introduced in the 1987 film. I believe this is the first time that Gwildor has shown up in a He-Man project since the film. His interaction with the former “Man At Arms” hints that the live-action movie actually happened here, and is canon.

In the story, Man At War and Orko go to Gwildor for help to re-forge the Sword of Power. During that visit, Mat At War asks Gwildor to remember the time that they "traveled across the universe together". This is a big tease that the Masters of the Universe movie adventure is something they actually experienced together. It doesn’t confirm anything, but I’m just going to buy into it because, why not!? Let it be canon!
