Marvel's X-MEN Reboot Rumored Not to Include Wolverine in First Mutant Storyline

The MCU is gearing up to launch a bunch of new movies starring unexplored Marvel superheroes that will bring us into the next phases. X-Men is among the new movies headed our way, and while they aren’t exactly unexplored in film, we haven’t seen the mutants yet in the Marvel universe. Our first dip into the X-Men pool will be in the upcoming Deadpool 3, in which we will see Hugh Jackman returning to play Wolverine opposite Ryan Reynolds’s title character. But will we see Wolverine jump right into the X-Men movie next? According to an inside scooper, the answer is no.

Deadpool 3 will reportedly leave Hugh Jackman's Wolverine stranded on Earth-616, making the character a key part of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. However, the new Wolverine might not be part of the initial X-Men lineup.
