Little Detail Spotted in THE BATMAN Deleted Scene Could Hint at Joker's Future
For the most part, The Batman fans seemed pleased with the deleted scene that was shared last week involving Batman questioning The Joker in Arkham Asylum. With the scene being cut from the film, I don’t know if anything in it will play a role in a sequel or the Arkham series that Reeves is developing. But, there was a little detail spotted that I wanted to share.
This detail could be a key to how the story arc of Barry Keoghan's Joker might play out as the story continues. During Batman’s visit with The Joker, he slides a file folder containing information about Paul Dano's Riddler.
We see The Joker go through the folder, turning over pages and photographs, and at one point Batman becomes frustrated and takes it back.
Now, when Batman first gives The Joker the file, there's a paper clip keeping the papers and photographs together. When he gets the file back, the paper clip is gone.
So, as you might imagine a lot of fans believe that Joker took the paper clips, which he could easily use to escape. I mean, did Batman really think that The Joker would put the paperclip back on? Hell, maybe Matt Reeves didn’t even notice! Just some fun bit of insight I thought you might enjoy.
