Kevin Smith Reveals That William Shatner Will Voice a Character in MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE Season 2

With all of the news coming out of SDCC this year, this is one that may get your geek juices flowing. During the 40th Anniversary of Masters of the Universe, not only did Kevin Smith confront the reasons why He-Man wasn’t in the first season but he announced that the one and only James T. Kirk, William Shatner himself, will voice a character in season 2 of the show.

I am happy that he addressed the lack of He-Man in the freaking HE-MAN SHOW! The animation was fun, and I totally understand what he was going for in the first season. However, I couldn’t help but feel let down. Now, with Masters of the Universe: Revolution, Smith guarantees He-Man will be all over this season. Also, we will get fan favorite characters like Hordak in this season. This will also mark the first time that Shatner and Mark Hamill will star in anything together.

There is no info on what legendary character he will be voicing, but we will let you know as soon as we know. I am going to have to go back and watch Revelation. That way I can watch it knowing what is to come. Let us know what you think.
