JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX Set Photos and Videos Have Surfaced Featuring Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix
Several photos and videos from the set of director Todd Phillips’ Joker: Folie a Deux have hit social media over the past few days. I thought I’d shared some of the things that have been making the rounds, and they feature Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn and Joaquin Phoenix reprising his role as Joker.
It’s interesting to see some of the scenes being shot, and while I have no idea what exactly is going on, seeing this stuff definitely perks my interest in the film and fuels my curiosity about the story it will tell.
All we know about the movie at this time is that it will be a musical and the story will mostly be set in Arkham Asylum. The film’s working title, Joker: Folie à Deux, refers to the clinical term for the “shared madness,” hallucinations, and delusions of two people.
The movie also stars Zazie Beetz as Sophie Dumond, with Catherine Keene, Jacob Lofland, and Brendan Gleeson recently cast in undisclosed roles.
Warner Bros. will release the film in theaters on October 4th, 2024.
