JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX Director Shares Official Photos of Joker and Harley Quinn
In celebration of director Todd Phillips wrapping production on Joker: Folie a Deux, the filmmaker released two official photos from the film featuring Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn and Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck, a.k.a. The Joker.
The photos came with a note from Phillips saying: “That’s a wrap. Thanks to these two (+ the entire cast) and the BEST crew that the film industry has to offer. From top to bottom. Gonna crawl into a cave now (edit room) and put it all together.”
All we know about the movie at this time is that it will be a musical and the story will mostly be set in Arkham Asylum. The film’s working title, Joker: Folie à Deux, refers to the clinical term for the “shared madness,” hallucinations, and delusions of two people.
The movie also stars Zazie Beetz as Sophie Dumond, with Catherine Keene, Jacob Lofland, and Brendan Gleeson recently cast in undisclosed roles.
