J.J. Abrams and David E. Kelly's Courtroom Drama Thriller PRESUMED INNOCENT Lands at Apple
Apple TV+ has given a series order to the dramatic courtroom thriller Presumed Innocent, from producers J.J. Abrams (Star Trek Into Darkness, Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Dustin Thomason (Castle Rock), and David E. Kelley, creator of The Practice and Big Little Lies. Kelley will pen the adaptation, based on the Scott Turow novel of the same name.
“The courtroom thriller series tells the story of a horrific murder that upends the Chicago Prosecuting Attorneys’ office when one of its own is suspected of the crime.” Apple has given the limited series an eight-episode order.
These are all busy guys in the business, and they turn out a ton of hits, so I look forward to checking out this series. Will you tune in to watch Presumed Innocent?
