James Gunn Would Love To Work with THE FLASH Star Grant Gustin at Some Point

Grant Gustin had a great run (pun intended) playing Barry Allen in The CW’s DC series The Flash. Fans seemed to enjoy his take on the classic superhero, and while he may never play the character again, DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn would love to work with him at some point down the line.

A fan reached out to Gunn on Threads, requesting that he cast Gustin as one of the heroes in the upcoming DCU. Gunn responded to that, saying:

“Grant is an incredibly talented guy, performing now on Broadway, I believe, and is absolutely not going to waste just because he’s not currently in a DC project. But of course I’d love to work with him at some point.”

The question is, what other DC character would you like to see Gustin take on? Is there a character other than The Flash that you’d think the actor would fit? There are so many characters in the DC Universe to choose from and Gunn seems to enjoy playing with some of the more obscure characters. I’d be curious to know who Gunn would want him to play. One thing we know for sure is that it’ll probably be a long while before Gunn casts Gustin in anything, if that even ever happens.
