Jack Reynor to Star Opposite Chloë Grace Moretz and Gary Carr in Amazon Original Series THE PERIPHERAL
Jack Reynor (Midsommar, Cherry) has joined the cast of the Amazon original series The Peripheral, in which he will star opposite Chloë Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass, Suspiria) and Gary Carr (21 Bridges, The Deuce).
The sci-fi thriller drama was created and adapted by Scott B. Smith, and is based on the bestselling novel by William Gibson. Vincenzo Natali (Locke & Key, The Stand) is directing. The story is described as a dazzling, hallucinatory glimpse into the fate of mankind — and what lies beyond.
“The book centers on Flynne (Moretz) and her brother Burton (Reynor). In the novel, Burton, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps’ elite Haptic Recon force, is hired for a security job which takes place in what he thinks is cyberspace. When Flynne temporarily takes his place, she witnesses something that might have been murder.”
This is an interesting story and a great cast so far. I’m interested to see this series when it comes to Amazon.
