Evan Rachel Wood Is Playing Madonna in WEIRD: THE AL YANKOVIC STORY and Here's Our First Look
Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld, Phoenix Rising) has joined the cast of Roku’s Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. She will be taking on the role of Madonna and you can check out a photo of her above! She joins Daniel Radcliffe, who is playing Weird Al.

The paths of Weird Al and Madonna intersected when he parodied her popular song “Like a Virgin” with “Like a Surgeon” in 1985.
The biopic holds nothing back, “exploring every facet of Yankovic’s life, from his meteoric rise to fame with early hits like ‘Eat It’ and ‘Like a Surgeon’ to his torrid celebrity love affairs and famously depraved lifestyle. ‘Weird: The Al Yankovic Story’ takes audiences on a truly unbelievable journey through Yankovic’s life and career, from gifted child prodigy to the greatest musical legend of all time.”
The project is being produced by Funny Or Die and Tango. Yankovic is involved with the project as well, and he even co-wrote the script with Eric Appel, who is also set to direct.
