Evan Rachel Wood and Aaron Paul Discuss WESTWORLD Season 3 in New Featurette; Episode Titles and Loglines Shared

While we all wait for Westworld Season 3 to drop later this month, HBO has released an “Analysis Featurette” in which stars Evan Rachel Wood and Aaron Paul discuss what we can expect to see from their characters and the story of the new season.

This series is described as a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the birth of a new form of life on Earth, and I’m curious to see where this next chapter takes us. The show has gone in a completely different direction than I thought it would. Currently, it’s not a direction I don’t particularly care for, but we’ll see how it plays out.

Westworld Season 3 will be shorter than the previous seasons of the series, with only eight episodes instead of the usual 10. Here are the titles and brief loglines for the first four episodes:

  • Episode 1: “Parce Domine” – If you’re stuck in a loop, try walking in a straight line.

  • Episode 2: “The Winter Line” – People put up a lot of walls. Bring a sledgehammer to your life.

  • Episode 3: “The Absence of Field” – If you don’t like what you see in the mirror, don’t blame the mirror.

  • Episode 4: “The Mother of Exiles” – The truth doesn’t always set you free.

The series was created for television by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, and the cast of the series also includes returning cast members Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, and Rodrigo Santoro. Newcomers include Lena Waithe (Ready Player One), Marshawn Lynch, and Vincent Cassel (Black Swan, Eastern Promises).

The series is scheduled to make its return on March 15th.

Evan Rachel Wood and Aaron Paul discuss their shared fandom of the series and the new narrative in advance of the Season 3 premiere. #HBO #Westworld Subscrib...
