E3 2021 Happening This June with Nintendo, Xbox, and More Already Announced

E3 has been the big video game convention for fans to enjoy for years. Well, the plans for E3 2021 have started to be unveiled, including the fact that it’s actually going to happen. Last year, the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this year, gamers will be able to enjoy an all-virtual event from some of the biggest names in gaming. E3 2021 will happen June 12-15 for free.

According to The Verge, Capcom, Konami, Nintendo, Take-Two Interactive, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. Games, and Xbox are all included in the lineup for the year. Gamesindustry.biz adds Koch Media to the list as well. So far, some of the big players missing are Sony, EA, and Activision Blizzard. There’s still quite a bit of time left, so there’s always the possibility of those companies and more to be announced, but who knows.

I also want to take a moment to talk about predictions. I don’t have too many predictions, but I think that if a Nintendo Switch Pro, Super Nintendo Switch, New Nintendo Switch, or Nintendo Switch U is coming out, E3 2021 would be the perfect time to announce it. I think there’s a decent chance we’ll hear something about Breath of the Wild 2 and Metroid Prime 4 although I still wouldn’t get my hopes up too high. What are you hoping to see at E3 2021?
