CRITICAL ROLE Has Assembled an Amazing Writing Team for THE LEGEND OF VOX MACHINA
Critical Role fans are barely able to wait for the upcoming animated series The Legend of Vox Machina. The show will revisit the characters from the first campaign and will be an exclusive to Amazon Prime Video. Now, Critical Role has revealed the dynamite team of writers that they’ve been working with to adapt everything for the series. The team of writers includes Brandon Auman (Star Wars Resistance, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Ashly Burch (Adventure Time), Jennifer Muro (Star Wars: Forces of Destiny, Justice League Action), Marc Bernardin (Castle Rock, Carnival Row), Chris “Doc” Wyatt (Star Wars Resistance, Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man), Kevin Burke (Star Wars Resistance, Marvel’s Rocket & Groot), Daniel Thomsen (Westworld), and Mae Catt (Transformers: Cyberverse, Marvel Rising). They’ve been joined by story editor Eugene Son (Avengers Assemble, Ben 10: Omniverse) and writer’s assistant Meredith Kecskemety (Niko and the Sword of Light). This is really turning into something else!
“Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina follows a group of second-rate adventurers on a quest to save the realm from terrifying monsters and dark magical forces. Throughout the first season, our characters will face undead giants, overthrow a sinister necromancer, and confront a powerful curse that has taken root inside their own group. Through it all, they learn how to function as a team, and discover they’re much more than that: they’re family.”
Matt Mercer, Marisha Ray, Travis Willingham, Sam Riegel, Liam O’Brien, Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, and Ashley Johnson will all be reprising their roles as well as serve as executive producers and consultants to help with the story and their characters.
