Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul Confirmed To Appear in BETTER CALL SAUL Final Season

For those of you Breaking Bad fans who have been hoping to see Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul reprise their roles as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in the final season of Better Call Saul, you’ll be happy to hear that they are confirmed to appear!

Co-creator Peter Gould shared the big news at a Paleyfest event and then AMC confirmed the news on Twitter with a photo and caption that reads, “They’re coming back.” This has been something I’ve been expecting to happen, but it’s exciting to get the confirmation. It’s going to be fun to see how they end up being utilized in the story.

When talking about the final season of the series, Bob Odenkirk shared: “Even though I know what happens [in the end], I don’t think it’s hit me. I think I’ll have to watch it with everyone else, and that’s when it will hit me.”

Gould added: “It’s the Rubik’s cube from hell. It’s incredibly challenging and intimidating, but starting the show was the same thing.”

The final season brings an end to Jimmy McGill’s journey as he transforms into criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. “From the cartel to the courthouse, from Albuquerque to Omaha, season six tracks Jimmy, Saul and Gene as well as Jimmy’s complex relationship with Kim (Rhea Seehorn), who is in the midst of her own existential crisis. Meanwhile, Mike (Jonathan Banks), Gus (Giancarlo Esposito), Nacho (Michael Mando) and Lalo (Tony Dalton) are locked into a game of cat and mouse with mortal stakes.”

Gould previously shared: “In my eyes, this is our most ambitious, surprising and, yes, heartbreaking season. Even under incredibly challenging circumstances, the whole ‘Saul’ team — writers, cast, producers, directors and crew — have outdone themselves. I couldn’t be more excited to share what we’ve accomplished together.”

The sixth and final season of Better Call Saul has been broken into two parts. It debuts on AMC on April 18th and runs until late May, before picking up again in early July.
