Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard Star in Trailer for Musical Drama ANNETTE
Adam Driver (Star Wars, Marriage Story) and Marion Cotillard (Big Fish, Inception) star in the trailer for a strange little film called Annette. The musical drama is directed by Leos Carax (Boy Meets Girl, Holy Motors), from a script written by Ron Mael and Russell Mael, of the band Sparks, who are featured throughout the film. Music producer Marius de Vries, who worked on La La Land, Bohemian Rhapsody and Moulin Rouge, also worked on the music in the movie.
Set in contemporary Los Angeles, Annette stars Henry as a stand-up comedian with a fierce sense of humor who falls in love with Ann, a world-renowned opera singer. Under the spotlight, they form a passionate and glamorous couple. With the birth of their first child, Annette, a mysterious little girl with an exceptional destiny, their lives are turned upside down.
Driver and Cotillard are joined in the cast by Simon Helberg (The Big Bang Theory) and Belgian singer-songwriter Angèle in her acting debut.
