Aaron Paul is Wrong Convicted of Murder Thanks To Octavia Spencer in Trailer For Apple TV+'s New Thriller TRUTH BE TOLD
Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for a new crime thriller called Truth Be Told. The series stars Octavia Spencer, who plays a podcaster named Poppy Parnell as she reopens a murder case that turned her and her podcast into a national sensation. It turns out that her coverage helped put a man named Warren Cave (Aaron Paul) behind bars for life for the murder of his father. The thing is… he may actually be innocent.
I enjoy these kinds of mystery crime thrillers and this looks like it could be great! Spencer and Paul are also sure to give incredible performances. This trailer sold me on the series and I’m interested to see how the story ends up playing out. This is the synopsis for the series that was shared:
Every truth has a consequence. When new evidence compels podcaster Poppy Parnell (Octavia Spencer) to reopen the murder case that made her a national sensation, she comes face to face with Warren Cave (Aaron Paul), the man she may have mistakenly helped to put behind bars. Her investigation navigates urgent concerns about privacy, media and race.
Truth Be Told was created by Nichelle Tramble Spellman and also stars Lizzy Caplan, Elizabeth Perkins, Michael Beach, Mekhi Phifer, Tracie Thoms, Haneefah Wood and Ron Cephas Jones.
Truth Be Told premieres on Apple TV+ on December 6, 2019.
